Mrs. Judy Raper, 60, of Thomasville, Georgia passed away June 20, 2016 at her residence following a short illness. She was born in Toccoa, Georgia on January 23, 1956 to Margaret Mealor Shedd and the late "Wiley" J. D. Shedd. Mrs. Raper had lived the past 35 years in Thomasville. She was a nurse's assistant with Community Gardens Nursing Home. Mrs. Raper was a member and attended the Victory Fellowship Church in Thomasville.

She is survived by her husband Bobby Carroll Raper, Jr. of Thomasville; a daughter and son-in-law: Hannah and Jacob Johnson; one grandson, Alexander Spivey all of Shelbyville, Tennessee; her mother, Margaret M. Shedd of Hilliard, Florida; two brothers, Roger Shedd of Toccoa and Harold Shedd of Kingsland, Georgia. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her brother Carl Shedd.

A visitation was held from 3:00 to 4:00 PM on Wednesday June 22, 2016 at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 South Hutchinson Avenue in Adel. Funeral Services were held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday June 22, 2016 at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Boutwell officiating. Interment was at Sparks City Cemetery.
