Ms. June Johnson, 87, of Hahira, Georgia, passed away February 12, 2016 at her home. She was born on November 28, 1928 in Dacula, Georgia to her late parents, John H. and Lula Wilburn Wilson. She lived in the Cook County area for many years and was retired from Smith Hospital where she worked as a dietician and was a member of Beulah Holiness Baptist Church.

Ms. Johnson is survived by three sons, Carl Cash, Keith Johnson, and Tony Johnson, all of Hahira: five grandchildren: Shane Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, Amber Johnson, Gary Childers, and Shannon Walker; several great-grandchildren; her ex-husband, John W. Johnson of Hahira; and a brother, George Wilson of Dacula. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Johnson.

The funeral service took place Monday, February 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel, Georgia, with Rev. William Davis officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. "Amazing Grace" was played at the service. Carl Cash, Keith Johnson, Shannon Walker, Vernon Giddens, Terry Sirmans, and William Davis served as pallbearers.
