Mr. June Nichols, 85 of Hahira, Georgia passed away January 21, 2025 at his residence. Mr. Nichols was born June 17, 1939 in Hahira, Georgia to the late Charlie Clower Nichols and the late Betty Lou Webb Nichols. Mr. Nichols lived all of his life in Cook County and had retired from BASF where he was the shipping and receiving supervisor. He also served in the United States Army.

Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife, Kathryn "Kathy" Fountain Nichols; his son and daughter-in-law, Wes and Stephanie Nichols, his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and David Bryan, all of Hahira; grandchildren: Jacob Bryan, Brandon Bryan, Jonah Bryan and Katie Nichols, all of Hahira; step-son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Stephanie Crawford of Millbrook, Alabama; his step-daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Jeffrey Jackson of Cottonwood, Alabama; four step grandchildren: Bryson Stubbs of Millbrook, Emma Crawford of Millbrook; Abbie and Josh Jones of Cottonwood,  Peyton and Hunter Knight of Ashford, Alabama; one step great grandson, Sawyer Knight of Ashford; one sister, Betty Herring of Barney, Georgia; several nieces and nephews also survive. Special friend, Barry Fuller of Cecil, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his children's mother, Betty Hanks Nichols; three brothers: Franklin Nichols, Elmo Nichols, Howard Nichols and W.R. Nichols; and one sister, Lounele King.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Hendley officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; 501 St. Jude Place; Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
