Mrs. Kathryn Partain Berisford, 81, of Leesburg, Georgia, passed away on January 8, 2021 at her daughter's residence in Leesburg.  She was born on March 24, 1941 in Cook County to the late George Doyle Partain and Eliza Evelyn Crosby Partain Wright.  Mrs. Berisford was a member of the Sasser Baptist Church in Sasser, Georgia, and was a retired clerical worker for Grace Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia.

She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Leverett of Leesburg; two grandchildren: James Leverett of Albany, Georgia, and Eliza Leverett of Leesburg; and one great grandchild, Marty Valentine of Leesburg; several nieces and nephews also survive.  Mrs. Berisford was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bradley John Berisford; and one sister, Frances Richeson.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Huffstuttler officiating.  "Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)" was performed at the service.  In keeping with Mrs. Berisford wishes she was cremated and her ashes were placed beside her husband.
