Mr. Kenneth L. Moore, 83, of Adel, Georgia, passed away December 8, 2014 at his home. He was born in Cook County on November 22, 1931 to the late Clyde and Maude Bridges Moore. He resided in Cook County most of his life and was a member of Westside Baptist Church and retired plant manager for Goldkist.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Jo Harper Moore of Adel; two sons, Roger Moore of Adel and Randy Moore of Cullman, Alabama; two daughters, Darlene Lipsey and Theresa Ray, both of Adel; eight grandchildren: Candi Patterson, Ken Moore, Cody Moore (all of Adel), Nikki Mitchell of Cullman, Alabama, Derek Moore of Evans, Georgia, Shane Lipsey, Tera Ray, and Dakota Ray (all of Adel); six great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Mary Dove of Panama City, Florida, Renda Massey of McDonough, Georgia, and Janice Brice of Adel. He was preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Griffin.

The Moore family received friends Tuesday evening December 9, 2014 from 6 until 8 pm at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel. The funeral service took place Wednesday December 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Westside Baptist Church in Adel with Mr. Keith Howze officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Derek Moore, Randy Moore, Cody Moore, Nick Griffin, John Brice, and Ken Moore will serve as pallbearers. Amy Bostic played the piano and the Westide Church Choir sang "Mansion Over the Hilltop" and "Amazing Grace."
