Mr. Larry Flythe, 59, of Hahira, Georgia, passed away Friday September 1, 2017 at his brother's home. He was born in Hahira, Georgia on December 11, 1957 to John Claude Flythe and Anna Leads Hodges Flythe, both now deceased. He lived most of his life in Lowndes County. Mr. Flythe was retired from Fisk Auto Sales and was also a Baptist.

Mr. Flythe is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Kim Flythe of Adel, and Steve and Jeanette Flythe of Quitman, Georgia; a half-brother, Gary Harrington of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a niece, Stephanie F. Bennett of Valdosta; and two nephews, Steve Flythe, Jr. of Valdosta and Justin Watson of Adel.

A graveside service for Mr. Flythe was held Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Adel with Pastor Keith Wise officiating. "Amazing Grace" was the special musical selection played at the service. There was no formal visitation.
