Mrs. Leisha Pierce Lunceford, 55, of Adel, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. She was born on February 5, 1962 in Adel to Gene and "Jackie" Jacqueline Dorminey Pierce. She lived in Marietta for part of her life and the last 30 years in Adel. She was a retired credit manager with MBCI and was a member of China Grove Baptist Church in Colquitt County.

Mrs. Lunceford is survived by her loving husband, Jeffery L. Lunceford; a son and daughter, Shawn and Sarah Lunceford; her father, Gene Pierce, all of Adel; a brother, Michael Pierce of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her mother-in-law, Caroline Tillman of Moultrie, Georgia; and a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jackie Dorminey Pierce.

The funeral service for Mrs. Lunceford will take place on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Tillman and Rev. Brian Gay officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Boone Funeral Home (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.) on Saturday from 2:30 PM until service time.
