Mrs. Lexie Fulp Sirmans, 92, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on August 22, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. She was born in Turner County on June 13, 1926 to the late Tarver Jackson "Buddy" Wynn and Beatrice "Bat" Warren Wynn. Mrs. Sirmans lived most of her life in Cook County where she was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. She was retired from Nashville Textile where she worked as a packer.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Jimmy and Emily Fulp of Nashville, Georgia and Jeff and Dian Fulp of Valdosta, Georgia; six daughters and four sons-in-law: Carolyn and Gerry Kitts of Valdosta, Gail and Wendell Stephens of Valdosta, Beth and Tim Flanders of Tifton, Geraldine King of Nashville, Virginia Boutwell of Washington, Georgia, and Kay and Richard Gibson of Walhulla, South Carolina; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Talmadge Brantley Fulp; her second husband, Harvey Sirmans; and a son, Farrell Fulp.
A graveside service was held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Fellowship Church Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Hendley officiating. The family received friends from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at Boone Funeral Home South (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., Adel, Georgia) on Saturday prior to the graveside service. Will Crick, Bill Bailey, Brantley Fulp, Taylor Fulp, Erik Lobzun and Justin Slone served as pallbearers. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at
