Mrs. Lillian Bennett, 82, of Adel, Georgia passed away Wednesday September 13, 2017 at her grandson's home. She was born on November 13, 1934 in Avon, North Carolina to the late Eugene and Lovie Gray. She lived most of her life in Cook County where she was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Christian Church in Sparks, Georgia.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by her son, Morris C. Bennett, Jr. of Adel; a daughter and son-in-law, Dallis Faye Lee and Michael Lee of Dahlonega, Georgia; a grandson, Blaine Warren and his wife, Heather, of Adel; and four great-grandsons: Jacob, Seth, Caleb and Luke Warren, all of Adel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Clifton Bennett, Sr.

A graveside service for Mrs. Bennett was held Saturday September 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Springhead Baptist Church Cemetery in Cook County with Rev. John Bagley officiating. No formal visitation was held.
