Mrs. Linda T. Moore, 74, of Adel, Georgia, passed away at her home on September 2, 2020.  She was born on September 3, 1945 and lived in Cook County all of her life.  Mrs. Moore was a retired court reporter and the owner of Linda Moore Court Reporting.  She was of the Baptist Faith.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law: Michael and Lisa Moore, and Scotty and Heather Moore, all of Adel; four grandchildren: Ty and Emily Moore of Adel, Blake and Adrianna Moore of Barney, Georgia, Chelsea Moore of Adel, and Maghan Moore of Sparks, Georgia; six great-grandchildren: Cayson Moore and Reid Moore of Adel, Branch Moore of Barney, Kylen Hundley and Maddox Hundley of Adel, and Jaxon Street of Sparks; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Bonita and Sonny McKenzie of Bartow, Florida, Charlotte and Ronnie Folsom of Hiawassee, Georgia, and Debbie Waites of Norman Park, Georgia; and her Special Friend, Chip Carter of Adel.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Eris Merrell "Sonny" Moore.

The visitation for Mrs. Moore took place on Thursday evening, September 3, 2020, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home.  The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Friday in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Walker officiating and the eulogy provided by Margaret Giddens-Young.  Interment followed at Beulah Church Cemetery.  Jared Stalvey, Jamie Exum, Drew Griffin, Wade Howell, Kevin Barker and Alfonzo Spencer served as pallbearers.  Special music at the service included "Amazing Grace" and "Dancing in the Sky."  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.boonefunerals.com .  --Boone Funeral Home of Adel has been entrusted with all arrangements.
