Miss Marcy René Crosby, 47, of Adel, Georgia passed away on December 15, 2020 at her residence following a long illness.  She was born on November 1, 1973 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to the late William Frank Crosby and Lynn Sue Thompson Crosby.  Miss Crosby lived all of her life in Cook County and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her mother, Lynn Sue Thompson Crosby; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Katrina and Brad Bostic, Jessie and Mitchell Bennett, all of Adel; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.  Miss Crosby was preceded in death by her father, William Frank Crosby; one brother, Eric Smith and one sister, Candy Crosby Lawler.

A graveside service was held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2020 at the Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ted Graham officiating.  Interment followed.  Special music played at the service included a recording of Miss Crosby's sister, Candy Crosby Lawler, singing "Come See This Man."
