Ms. Marie Blume, age 38, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on October 15, 2023 at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta.  She was born on March 1, 1985 in Portsmouth, Virginia.  Mrs. Blume lived most of her life in Lowndes County.  She was a Baptist, a sales representative for AT&T and also served honorably in the U.S. Air Force.

Mrs. Blume is survived by her son and daughter, Jacen Tyler Blume and Kaylee Marie Blume, both of Valdosta; her parents, Billy and Kathleen Winser of Adel; two brothers and a sister-in-law: William Lee Winser and wife Betsy of Valdosta and Edward H. Winser of Charlotte, North Carolina; a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Kyson Johnson of Washington, D.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Blume at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Brushy Creek Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Parker officiating.  "Amazing Grace" and "Go Rest High on That Mountain" will be played during the service.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Boone Funeral Home South, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel.
