Mrs. Martha Hansen, 83, of Adel, Georgia, passed away November 16, 2014, at Southern Care Assisted Living in Tifton, Georgia. She was born March 21, 1931 in Lenox, Georgia to the late Lamar Parker "Bud" Nipper and Willie Clyde Dorsett Nipper. She was a homemaker, a member of Adel United Methodist Church, and had lived most of her life in Cook County. She was the widow of Mr. Harry A. Hansen, Jr.

Mrs. Hansen is survived by her son, Harry A. Hansen, III of Norfolk, Virginia; her daughter, Sena Hansen of Adel; a sister, Kitty Noles of Adel; a sister-in-law, Virginia Hansen Lewis of Quaker Hill, Connecticut; nieces and nephew: Charlotte Dickerson of Adel, Shirley Jean Richardson of Sparks, Patricia Nipper of Adel, Jere Anna Hargett of Lenox, Jan Saunders of Sparks, Martha Jo Sumner of Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Robin Noles of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Several great and great-great nieces and nephews also survive.

A private graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Hansen Tuesday November 18, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex in Adel with Rev. Eric Gordon officiating. Condolences may be expressed to Mrs. Hansen's family online at www.boonefunerals.com.
