Mrs. Mary Lou Wright, 88, of Valdosta, Georgia, formerly of Adel, Georgia, passed away November 14, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. She was born on February 21, 1928 in Adel to Ernest and Ida Lou Bennett Revills. She lived in Adel most of her life where she was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church and worked as a homemaker.

Mrs. Wright is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Charlie and D.K. Wright of Boynton Beach, Florida, and Tim and Julie Wright of Valdosta; four grandchildren: Jennifer Heeren (Dan) of Jupiter, Florida, David Wright of New York City, Marianne Wright of Valdosta and Marlow Wright of Hahira, Georgia; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dee Revills of Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Reese Wright, Sr. and a brother, Herman Revills.

The Wright family received friends Wednesday evening, November 16, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel. The funeral service was conducted Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Antioch United Methodist Church with Rev. Christy Bandy officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn City Cemetery in Adel. David Wright, Lee Edwards, Dan Revills, Fred Palmer, Tony Betts and Tracy Davis served as pallbearers. Johnnie Lou Ellenberg played piano and Ellen Wiggins sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "How Great Thou Art". In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to Antioch United Methodist Church in memory of Mrs. Wright. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.boonefunerals.com.
