Mr. Michael Fulghum, 72, of Hahira, Georgia, passed away at his residence on August 29, 2026. He was born on June 1, 1954 in Adel, Georgia to the late James Carlton Fulghum and the late Rosa Joyce Fendley Kelley. He lived in Texas in his earlier years where he was a professional meat cutter. Mr. Fulghum is survived by his brother, James Marvin Fulghum of Adel, Georgia; his sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and David Stacey of Sevierville, Tennessee; his two special daughters and sons-in-law: Tina and Mark Russ of Scotts Hill, Tennessee, and Kathy and Matt Begue of Hahira; and nine grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Walker officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 4:00 PM immediately prior to the service at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. (US Hwy 41 South). In keeping with Mr. Fulghum's wishes, he was cremated.
