Mr. Michael Moore, 59 of Adel, Georgia passed away on March 17, 2026 at his residence.  Mr. Moore was born on July 1, 1966 in Hahira, Georgia to the late Eris Merrell "Sonny" Moore and the late Linda Sue Taylor Moore.  He has lived all of his life in Cook County and was a member of Beulah Holiness Baptist Church.  Mr. Moore was a retired engineer with Southwell Medical Center and Southwell Health and Rehabilitation Center in Adel.  He was also a retired law enforcement officer and member of The Blue Knights and The Patriot Guard..

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Lisa Moore of Adel; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Tyler Moore of Adel, Blake and Adrianna Moore of Barney, Georgia; four grandchildren: Cayson Moore and Reid Moore, both of Adel, Branch Moore and Silus Morris, both of Barney, and soon to be granddaughter, Emmylou Moore; one brother and sister-in-law; Scotty and Heather Moore of Adel; two nieces, Meaghan Spencer and Chelsea Moore, both of Adel.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Beulah Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Walker officiating.  Interment will follow at the church cemetery.  Visitation will take place on Friday evening, March 20, 20126 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel.  The Blue Knights and The Patriot Guard will serve as honorary pallbearers and assist in escorting Mr. Moore to the church for the funeral.  Charles Harrod, Richard Hill, Clayton Godwin, Buddy Hampton, Mike Stone and Colin Millison will serve as active pallbearers.  Special music for the service will include "How Great Thou Art" and "I'll Fly Away".
