Mr. Mike Ledbetter, 58, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on June 8, 2021 at the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.  Mr. Ledbetter was born on November 20, 1962, in Valdosta to the late Harold Morgan "Boots" Ledbetter and Martha McKinnon Rees.  He lived most of his life in Cook County and was of the Baptist faith.  He was a retired welder and was also the owner and operator of Betterway Sanitation.

Mr. Ledbetter is survived by his wife, Anne Myers Ledbetter of Adel, Georgia; his mother and step-father, Martha and Tommy Rees of Dasher, Georgia; one brother and sister-in-law, Vic and Connie Ledbetter of Valdosta; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindee and Terry Hiers of Valdosta and Teresa and Dino Ferrari of Dasher; and a step-sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Keith Hodges of Dasher.

In keeping with Mr. Ledbetter's wishes he was cremated.  A memorial service was held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Brannon, Rev. Shawn Hutchinson and Mr. Terry Hiers officiating.  Special music at the service included "When I Get Where I'm Going," "Save the Roses," "You Should Be Here," "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away" and "Jealous of the Angels."  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.boonefunerals.com The Ledbetter family is being served by Boone Funeral Home, Inc.
