Mr. Mike Myers, 60, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on August 9, 2021 at his residence.  Mr. Myers was born on February 5, 1961 in Adel, Georgia to Betty Moore Myers and the late James T. Myers, Jr.  He lived most of his life in Cook County and was a member of the Truth Harbor Pentecostal Church in Lake Park, Georgia.  Mr. Myers was a tile contractor and also served in the United States Army National Guard.

Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Teresa Riley Myers of Valdosta; two sons: Timothy Myers and Luke Myers of Brunswick, Georgia; two daughters and one son-in-law: Sarah and Robert Hill of Statenville, Georgia and Lydia Myers of Brunswick; his mother, Betty Moore Myers of Sparks, Georgia; one brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Lisa Myers of Adel, Georgia; four sisters and one brother-in-law: Lori Myers of Adel, Bonnie Myers of Sparks, Lisa and Tommy Wood of Tifton, Georgia and Janet Myers of Adel; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.  Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his father, James T. Myers, Jr. and one brother, Tommy Myers.

A graveside service was held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Benjamin Weeks officiating.  Interment followed.  Visitation was held at Boone Funeral Home an hour prior to the service.  Timothy Myers, Luke Myers, Robert Hill, Ethan Myers, David Carter and James Viar served as pallbearers.  Rev. Ben Weeks, Abigail Weeks and Neil Hyler were joined by the congregation in the singing of "I'll Fly Away," "I Look to You" and "Address Change."  The family is making headquarters at his sister's, Lori Myers, home located at 1249 Hutchinson-Parrish Road; Adel, Georgia.  Please use a mask at your discretion and practice social distancing due to the Covid virus.
