Mrs. Mildred L. Robinson, age 91, of Ray City, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at The Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta.  She was born on July 12, 1932 in Cook County but lived most of her life in Lowndes County and the last several years in Ray City.  Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of George Woodard Rentz and Pearl Hancock Rentz.  She was a Baptist and a homemaker.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her son, Wesley "Woody" Robinson of Quitman, Georgia; her daughter, Wanda Cagle of Ray City; four grandchildren and their spouses: Daniel and Kimber Cagle of Valdosta, Christin and Bart Kirkland of Dixie, Hannah and Michael Moon of Valdosta, Patricia and Dan Price of Ocklawaha, Florida; six great-grandchildren: Kinsley Cagle, Lizzie Cagle, Kacey Kirkland, Jamie Moon, Amber Breen and Alyssa Price; one great-great-grandchild, Avery Breen; a brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Nellie Rentz of Adel; and two sisters and brothers-in-law: Hazel and Marvin Brannon of Lexington, North Carolina, and Dorothy and Gene Griffin of Nashville, Georgia.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wesley Robinson; two brothers: Eston Rentz and Williard Rentz; two sisters: Jeanette Hayes and Doris Romubio; and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Robinson.

The funeral service for Mrs. Robinson was held at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 7, 2024 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel.  Brother Daniel Harrelson officiated.  Interment took place at Concord Church Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.  Visitation was held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  "Eastern Gate" and "Amazing Grace" were performed by Judy and Donnie Ward.  Daniel Cagle, Michael Moon, Bart Kirkland, Brady Hayes, Chris Griffin and Stacey Griffin served as pallbearers.
