Mrs. Misty Marie Rentz Lasseter, 40, of Adel, Georgia passed away September 21, 2019 at her residence.  Mrs. Rentz was born on July 24, 1979 in Tifton, Georgia.  She lived in Tifton and the past 30 years in Cook County.  She was a dental assistant at Fulp Dentistry in Tifton and a homemaker.  Mrs. Lasseter was a member at the Evergreen Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Justin Gerald Lasseter, and two daughters, Kadence Marie Lasseter and Kendyl Hope Lasseter, all of Adel; her parents, Tim and Vicki Folsom Rentz of Lenox, Georgia; one sister, Lacey Leigh Rentz and her maternal grandmother, Frances McNeal Folsom, both of Adel; her mother-in-law and step-father-in-law, Sybil Harrell Harris and Lamar Harris; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gabe and Kim Lasseter of Adel, Pierce and Emily Gossow of Atlanta; a sister-in-law, Megan Gossow of Adel; three step-sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Shelley and Kurt Robbins of Rome, Stephanie and Eli Mullis of Valdosta, Margo Smith of Adel; special nieces, Brooklyn Rentz of Adel, Reagen Gossow and Blake Lasseter of Adel; special nephews, Kason Wayne Walker of Lenox, Tripp Lasseter and Maddox Gossow of Adel: step-nephews, Nathan Young, Zachary Young and step niece, Courtney Young.  Mrs. Lasseter was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather John Billy Folsom and her paternal grandparents, Russell and Jackie Crumpton Rentz; and her father-in-law, Gerald Lasseter.

A Celebration of Life was held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 23, 2019, at Springhead Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Brannon officiating and Mr. Ronnie Dobbins providing the eulogy.  Interment followed in the Folsom Cemetery.  Ladon Rentz, Dalton Rentz, Josh Lindsey, Gary Mackie, Bo Rountree and Jason Walker served as active pallbearers; Derrick Shaw, Jamie Goddard, Waylon Stuckey, Heath Day, Lee Weaver, Steven Tucker and Brad Wells served as honorary pallbearers.  Will Holt played guitar and sang "Perfect;" Steve Meders sang "The Sweetest Name I Know;" the congregation sang "I'll Fly Away" and "You Are My Sunshine" led by Talmadge Folsom; Lisa Folsom played piano.  Other special musical tributes were "Sissy's Song" and "She Loved."  Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home in Adel.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.boonefunerals.com .  --Boone Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements.
