Mrs. Nancy Ivey Boone, 81, of Valdosta passed away on September 18, 2026.  Mrs. Boone was born on August 25, 1945 in Valdosta.  She lived most of her life in Lowndes County and was of the Methodist Faith. She was retired from the Credit Bureau of Valdosta where she served as the Marketing Manager.

      Mrs. Boone is survived by her husband of 59 years, Vance Boone; her daughter and son-in-law, Micki and Mike Krzynski; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Susan Boone, all of Valdosta; two grandsons: Jake and Tesa Krzynski of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Bennett Boone of Valdosta; her nephew, Michael Winn of Jacksonville, Florida; special cousins: Sandra Milhollin of Atlanta, Georgia; Gail Morley of Newnan, Georgia and Deborah Metts of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna McKie Ivey and her sister, Barbara Jean Winn Forte.

      A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2026 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Dennis Stalvey officiating. Woodlawn Memorial Gardens is located at 8879 Val-Del Road in Adel, Georgia.  Special music for the service will include "Scars in Heaven" and Only Jesus".
