Mrs. Nellie Christine Fausett Walker, 94 of Adel, Georgia passed away November 5, 2015 at the Southern Living Center in Adel. She was born September 30, 1921 in Dodge County to the late Thomas Grady Fausett and Vallie Diola Young Fausett. She lived in Cook County the last 50 years and was a retired sales clerk with B.C. Moore's and Sons.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Roy Walker of Adel; Jimmy and Cathy Walker of Sparks, Georgia; five grandchildren: Daphne Walker, Mitch Walker, DeeDee Stearman, Scott and Jessica Walker, and Ashley Walker; eight great-grandchildren: Lexie Walker, Cole Walker, Layla Walker, Brittaney Stearman, Brianna Stearman, Patrick Sommerville, Lindsey Foster and Laura Foster along with her Southern Senior Living Family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Hinton "Uncle D" Walker; two brothers: Fulton Fausett and Ottis Fausett; and a sister, Clara Sammons.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Ike Jefferson officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family received friends two hours prior to the visitation. Marty Walker, Johnny Walker, Todd Griffin, Butch Fausett, David Fausett and Jimmy Atkinson served as pallbearers. Layla Walker, Cindy Clark, Wendy Petitjean, David and Karen Williams sang "Take My Hand, Precious Lord"; the special selection, "What a Day That Will Be" was also played at the service.
