Mrs. Patricia Griffin Saunders, age 75, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on August 21, 2022 at Pruitt Health - Lakehaven in Valdosta, Georgia.  She was born in Sparks, Georgia on January 21, 1947 and was the daughter of Ernest Felton Griffin and Jeannette Wiggins Griffin.  Mrs. Saunders resided a time in Florida and then Atlanta, Georgia where she was a secretary for the Georgia Secretary of State's office until retirement before moving back to Cook County where she lived most of her life.  She was a Baptist.

Mrs. Saunders is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James and Debbie Griffin of Nashville, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Saunders; her step-mother, Ovie Handley Griffin; two brothers, Ronald C. Griffin and Donald Griffin; and a sister, Shirley F. Griffin.

Her request to be cremated was honored and no formal services are scheduled at this time.
