Miss Patsy Godwin, age 80, of Sparks, Georgia, passed away on January 18, 2025 at Wilson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia.  She was born in Quitman, Georgia on March 8, 1944.  Her parents were the late Shellie Hubert Godwin and the late Johnnie Lois Radney Godwin.  Miss Godwin lived most of her life in Cook County and was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Adel.

Miss Godwin is survived by a sister, LaDon Strawder of Ray City, Georgia; a sister-in-law, Sue Godwin of St. Simon's Island, Georgia; a special niece, Tonia Strawder Beville and her husband, John.  Three other nieces also survive.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert Godwin and Douglas Godwin, and a sister, Shirley Ann Delk.

Funeral services for Miss Godwin will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel) with Rev. Johnny Hendley officiating.  Interment will take place at Woodlawn City Cemetery.  No formal visitation will be held.  "No Tears in Heaven" and "One Day At a Time" will be played at the funeral service.
