Mrs. Peggy S. Griffin Folsom, 81, of Adel, Georgia, passed away at the Berrien Nursing Center in Nashville, Georgia on September 13, 2020.  Mrs. Folsom was born on April 3, 1939 in Cook County to the late T. Bledsoe "T.B." Shiflett and Reba Webb Shiflett.  She lived all her life in Cook County and was retired from Adel Auto Parts after 47 years of service as a bookkeeper.  Mrs. Folsom was a member of the Greggs Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Griffin and her second husband, John Henry Folsom; one brother, Wilburn Shiflett and one sister, Carmeta Mathis.

Mrs. Folsom is survived by her sister-in-law, Bernice Shiflett and her nephews and a niece: Ricky and Sylvia Mathis, and George Shiflett, all of Adel, and Vickie S. Parker of Clinton, Tennessee.

A graveside service was held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at the Antioch Church Cemetery with Rev. Brian Gay and Dr. Danny Ray officiating.  Interment followed.  Special music at the cemetery included "How Great Thou Art."
