Mrs. Rebecca Parrish Tomlinson, 35 of Adel, Georgia passed away July 29, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. She was born June 6, 1981 in Valdosta to Jim Parrish and Teresa Howell Parrish. Mrs. Tomlinson was a member of the Antioch United Methodist Church and had lived in Cook County all of her life. She was a Pharmacist with Harvey's in Adel.

She is survived by her husband, Heath Tomlinson; two sons, Leyton and Reece Tomlinson, all of Adel; her mother, Teresa Howell Parrish of Adel; her father, Jim Parrish of Blairsville, Georgia; one bother, Justin Parrish of Atlanta, Georgia; maternal grandparents, LeRoy and Irma Lee Howell; Paternal grandfather, Allen Parrish, all of Adel; uncles and aunts, Bruce and Teresa Howell; Jeff and Peggy Parrish; Cindy Parrish, all of Adel; Greg and Joy Parrish of Moultrie, Georgia, Bryan and Dana Chandler of Adel, Georgia; cousins: Christopher Howell and Whitney Howell of Adel; Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law, Dennis and Karen Tomlison of Cecil, Georgia; nieces and nephews: Tyler and Ethan Chandler; Cooper and Conner Tomlinson of Marysville, Georgia; other cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Mary Parrish and her brother-in-law, Kevin Tomlinson.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Antioch United Methodist Church with Dr. Gary Brady and Rev. Christy Bandy officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home. Justin Parrish, Bryan Chandler, Christopher Howell, Jeff Parrish, Greg Parrish and John Smith served as pallbearers; the Noma Crosby Sunday School Class served as honorary pallbearers. Ellen Wiggins and Belle Harrell sang "In the Garden"; Ellen Wiggins sang "Wonderful Peace"; Johnny Lou Ellenberg played piano. Flowers will be accepted or Memorials maybe made to her sons' Scholarship Fund, C/O Heath Tomlinson; 704 Newton Dr.; Adel, Georgia.
