Mr. Richard Lee Bennett, Sr., 60, of Moultrie, Georgia (formerly of Adel, Georgia), passed away Monday November 2, 2015 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. He was born in Adel on May 25, 1955 to his late parents, Harvey Lee Bennett and Opal Lee Joiner Bennett. He was a lifelong resident of Cook County until moving to Moultrie about a year ago. He was a retired farmer and a member of Greggs Baptist Church.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his son, Richard Lee "Bubba" Bennett, Jr., and a daughter, Kelli Bennett, both of Adel; and a very special friend, Gail Bennett of Moultrie.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, November 4, 2015, from 6 until 8 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel. A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Greggs Church Cemetery with Rev. James Rice and Rev. Don Williams officiating. Mr. Richard Bennett, Jr. will provide the eulogy.
