Mr. Ronald E. Wiggins, Sr., 82, of Adel, Georgia, passed away at his home on April 20, 2015. He was born on October 21, 1933 in Thomas County, Georgia to the late B.D. and Ethel Sloan Wiggins. He was retired from Weyerhauser where he worked in machine maintenance and also worked as a farmer. Mr. Wiggins also served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Wiggins is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Ellen Wiggins of Adel; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Brian McCollum of Hiram, Georgia; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Fondren Wiggins of Pearson, Florida, and Harvey and Shirley Wiggins of Port Orange, Florida; and two sisters and brothers-in-law: Donita and Bob Price of Holly Hill, Florida, and Faye and Ed Fuller of Port Orange. He was preceded in death by a son, Chad Wiggins; a daughter, Tamara Gordon; and three brothers: Donald, Connie, and Dennis Wiggins.

A graveside funeral service for Mr. Wiggins were held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11 AM at New Life Church Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Duncan officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel.
