Mr. Ronnie Howard Gaskins, 73, of Adel, Georgia, passed away December 8, 2015 at his home. He was born July 29, 1942 in Berrien County to his late parents, Manning "M.G." Gaskins and Ada Estelle Crosby Gaskins. He lived most of his life in Cook County where he was retired as the owner and operator of Gaskins Grocery Store.

Mr. Gaskins is survived by his wife, Sandra Robinson Gaskins of Adel; a son, Jeffrey Scott Gaskins of Duluth, Georgia; a daughter Ronda Gaskins Petrin of Suwanee, Georgia; four grandchildren: Daniel Tyler Gaskins and Kathryn Alexis Gaskins of Duluth, Morgan Douglas McClelland and Jacob David Petrin of Suwanee; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Neil and Ann Gaskins of Nashville, Georgia, Dennis and Kay Gaskins of Kissimmee, Florida; a special nephew, Bobby Alan Gaskins, Jr. of Nashville; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Danny Howard Gaskins; a brother, Bobby Gaskins; and a sister, Geraldine Swanson.

The family received friends Friday evening, December 11, 2015 from 6 until 8 PM at Boone Funeral Home North (202 N. Hutchinson Ave.). The funeral service was held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2 PM in the South Chapel of Boone Funeral Home (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.) with Rev. Chris Newbern officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery in Berrien County. Scott Storey, Eric Willis, Morgan McClelland, Tyler Gaskins, Michael Brooks and Tyler Harvey served as pallbearers. Special selections played at the service were "That's What Faith Can Do", "Go Rest High on That Mountain" and "Amazing Grace".
