Mr. Roy "Peanuts" Morrison, age 87, of Panama City Beach, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 4, 2024.

Roy was born on February 10, 1937 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a MSGT.  Roy loved music and played keyboard and guitar.  He also enjoyed fishing and telling old war stories.  Roy never met a stranger and was loved by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Frank and Vernie Mary Morrison; brother, Robert Morrison; and wife, Connie Lou Morrison.

Left to treasure Roy's memory are his daughters, Penelope Kay Morin (Kenton) and Robin Roche (Bill Wilson); sons, Dennis Keith Morrison and Mark Gladhill; grandchildren, DJ Morrison, Hayley Morrison, Dylan Morrison, Kayla Morin, Brandon Morin, Shawn Curran (Noelle), Misty Ringo (Shannon) and Amber O'Bryant (Jacob); sisters, Mary Bishop and Sandy Forbes; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Boone Funeral Home with R.T. Castleberry officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment with military honors will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
