Mrs. Ruby Annette Davis, 72, of Lake park, GA died September 24, 2015 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born December 10, 1942 in Daytona Beach, FL to her parents, Ruby Vera Patterson and Howard Ross Finkell, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard (Bill) Finkell, Jr. of Lakeland, FL.

She is survived by her caring and loving husband, Douglas Davis of Lake Park; two sons; Lane Matthews (Jennifer) of Lake
Park, and Ross Matthews of Tallahassee, FL; daughter-in-law, Jenny Kenyon (William) of Lake Park; three step-sons: Tommy Davis (Angie) of Spring Hill, FL, Wendell Davis (Susan) of Mobile, AL, and Sean Davis of Valdosta, GA; six grandchildren: September Dismuke, Jerry Amato, Crystal Gehlhausen, Zane Matthews, Dalton and Jayden Matthews; five step-grandchildren; Kelly, Rachel, Dale, Christina, Alex; seven great-grandchildren: Ashtyn Mullis, Adlee Matthews, Ayden Gehlhausen, Jaden Amato, Jenna Amato, Kayden and Emily Cowart; and life-long friend, Sharon Ewing.

The family will receive visitors Sunday evening, September 27, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel, GA. Funeral services will take place Monday, September 28,
2015 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Blair officiating and Mrs. Jenny Kenyon providing the eulogy. Interment will follow at Lenox City Cemetery in Lenox, GA. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.boonefunerals.com.
