Mrs. Sally W. Lovett, 79, of Adel, Georgia passed away on January 13, 2025 at her residence.  Mrs. Lovett was born on March 2, 1945 in Tifton, Georgia to the late Thomas Daniel Wood and the late Sarah Effie Whitehurst Wood.  She lived most of her life in Cook County and was a member of the Sparks United Methodist Church.  She retired as a Healthcare Consultant for 3M Healthcare Division.

Mrs. Lovett is survived by her daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Levy of Braselton, Georgia; her granddaughter, Ashley Levy of Marietta, Georgia; very special nephews, Brad Hayes and Eric Hayes of Adel; sister-in-law, Mildred Wood of Adel; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her four brothers: Dan Wood, Ben Wood, Frank Wood, Neill Wood and one sister, Mary Jane Hayes.

The funeral service for Mrs. Lovett took place at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Sparks Methodist Church with Rev. John Herrington officiating.  Interment followed at Sparks City Cemetery.  Visitation was held at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.  Dawn Boone sang "It Is Well" and "Amazing Grace" accompanied by Cindy Williams on piano; "You'll Never Walk Alone" was also played at the service.  Seth Hayes, Eric Hayes, Brad Hayes, Greg Wood, Shane Wood and Chace Sutton served as pallbearers.
