Mrs. Sandra Kaye Atwood Maglaris, 49, of Lenox, Georgia, passed away January 1, 2016 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was born November 16, 1966 in Asheville, North Carolina to Betty Wells Bailey and the late Ray Hoyt Atwood. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Adel and worked as a truck driver with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Joseph Maglaris of Lenox; a son, Raymond Joseph Maglaris of Lenox; a daughter, Helen Hope Bailey of Lenox; mother, Betty Wells Bailey of Sparks, Georgia; a grandchild, Gabriel Valor Coulter of Lenox; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Lark and Bertha Jones, Kenneth and Debra Jones, and Donald Bailey, all of Lenox; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held Wednesday at 3 pm in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Young officiating. The family received friends two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Interment followed the funeral service at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex.
