Mrs. Sandra Rountree Green, 79, of Valdosta, Georgia, formerly of Adel, passed away on June 26, 2026 at her residence.  She was born on July 22, 1946 in Hahira, Georgia to the late William Jackson Rountree and the late Pauline Tripp Rountree.  Mrs. Green lived most of her life in Cook County and was retired from the Cook Community Bank in Adel.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Adel.

Mrs. Green is survived by her daughter, Tina Vossfeldt of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Mariah and Jake Oglesby of Valdosta, Cason Vossfeldt of St. Augustine, Florida; two great granddaughters, Camille Oglesby and Eden Oglesby of Valdosta; two sisters, Janice Dobransky of Adel and Sylvia Marrotti of Tifton, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Grant Green, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday; June 29, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Adel with Rev. Mike Broadwater officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be at First Baptist Church from 2:00 to 4:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
