Mrs. Sara W. Kinard, 89, of Lenox, Georgia, passed away March 23, 2019, at the Legacy Village in Moultrie, Georgia.  Mrs. Kinard was born on November 13, 1929, in Cook County to the late Mack Talley Williams and Lola Marie Joiner Williams.  She was a lifelong resident of Cook County, a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church and was retired from the Adel Memorial Convalescent Center where she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Mrs. Kinard is survived by her son, Gary Kinard of Darien, Georgia; her daughter and son-in-law, Helen and David Sumner of Lenox; two granddaughters, Brandy and Justin Searcy of San Deigo, California and Laura Sumner of Lenox.  Mrs. Kinard was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Williams and three sisters; Doreatha Walker, Valeria Walker and Vivian Erwin.

A graveside service was held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 25, 2019 at the Lenox City Cemetery with Rev. Rick Baldree officiating and eulogies given by Miss Laura Sumner and Mrs. Brandy Searcy.  Interment followed.  Special musical selections played at the service were "Amazing Grace," "Jealous of the Angels" and "Go Rest High on That Mountain."  Condolences maybe expressed online at www.boonefunerals.com .  Boone Funeral Home is serving the Kinard family.
