Mrs. Sarah Louise Roberts McKinney, 89 of Brenham, Texas formerly of Sparks, Georgia passed away December 3, 2025 at the Brenham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 26, 1936 in Colquitt County to the late Millard Julian "Red" Roberts and the late Sarah Jane McMillan Roberts. She lived most of her life in Cook County and was a member at the Gordon Ave. Baptist Church. She was a retired homemaker.

Mrs. McKinney is survived by her two sons, Dan McKinney, Jr. of Brenham, Texas and Duane McKinney of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Donna Jean McKinney of Brenham, Texas and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel McKinney, Sr. and two sisters, Golie Sizemore and Faye Collins.

In keeping with Mrs. McKinney's wishes she was cremated. A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at the McMillan Family Cemetery in Colquitt County. Condolences may be expressed online at www.boonefunerals.com . Boone Funeral Home, Inc. is serving the McKinney family locally.
