Mr. Scott L. Walker, 58 of Sparks, Georgia, passed away January 7, 2026 at his residence.  Mr. Walker was born on August 19, 1967 in Tifton, Georgia to Randy Walker and Patsy Stripling Walker.  He lived most of his life in Cook County and was working with Heatcraft Refrigeration Products in Tifton.  He had also served in the United States Navy.

Mr. Walker is survived by his parents: father and step-mother, Randy and Jeanne Walker, mother and step-father, Patsy Stripling Whitehurst and Rountree Whitehurst, all of Adel; his nephew, Justin Walker of Arizona; and Special friend, Tonya Walker of Sparks.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve R. Walker.

The funeral service for Mr. Walker will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Dwight Marshall officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church immediately prior to the funeral service.  Brian Betts, David Bennett, Stanley Storey, Russell Welch, Timmy Davis and Jason Walker will serve as pallbearers. The Betts Family will sing "Amazing Grace," "Farther Along" and "I'm Coming Home".
