Mrs. Sharon Skinner Exum, 47, of Sparks, Georgia, passed away at her home on June 20, 2021.  She was born in Adel, Georgia on November 9, 1973 and was a lifelong resident of Cook County.  Mrs. Exum was a homemaker and member of the Adel Church of Christ.

Mrs. Exum is survived by her husband, Jimmy D. Exum of Sparks; two sons: Jeremy Exum of Sparks and Jonathan Exum and his fiancée, Karly Coleman, both of Memphis, Tennessee; her mother, Mildred Shouse Skinner of Sparks; a brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Susan Skinner of Sparks; mother-in-law, Mattie E. Exum of Sparks; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jamie and Dorine Exum of Sparks; and two nephews and a niece: Skylar Skinner, Justin Exum and Holly Exum, all of Sparks.  She was preceded in death by her father, John Payton "Jake" Skinner.

The visitation for Mrs. Exum was held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home South (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.).  The funeral service took place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the Adel Church of Christ (900 N. Cleveland Ave. in Adel) with Bro. Roger Leonard and Bro. Jonathan Exum officiating.  Interment at Concord Church Cemetery immediately followed the funeral service.  Justin Exum, Steve Jones, Joe Dent, Roger Roach, Ricky Roach and Adam Smith served as pallbearers.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.boonefunerals.com .  Boone Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with all arrangements.
