Mrs. Shirley McConville Cooper, 68, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on April 16, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.  She was born in Trenton, New Jersey on July 23, 1952.  Her parents were Dr. Edward Benedict McConville and Leticia Gallard McConville.  Mrs. Cooper was a retired carpet installer and she had a fond love for horses all of her life.

Mrs. Cooper is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Eric and Stephanie Dana of Jupiter, Florida, and Robert and Molly Cooper of Birmingham, Alabama; a daughter and son-in-law: Kerri and Bucky Johns of Sarasota, Florida; five grandchildren; four siblings and their spouses: Elaine Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana, Bruce and Peggy McConville of Adel, Shawn and Tony Ballew of Jupiter, and Robert and Brenda McConville of Adel.  A multitude of nieces and nephews also survive.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, James Cooper; a daughter, Kim Cooper; and a sister, Sandra "Sandi" Belland.

The family of Mrs. Cooper will hold a private Celebration of Life service.
