Mrs. Sibble Faye Moore, 83, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. She was born on June 27, 1936 in Berrien County. She was the daughter of the late Homer Warren McNabb and Sibble Hortense Clanton McNabb. Mrs. Moore lived most of her life in Cook and Berrien Counties and was a member of First Baptist Church of Adel. She retired from the General Telephone Company in the early 1990's and worked part-time for Whidby's Jewelers after retirement.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Steve Perry of Nashville; five grandchildren and their spouses: Chad and Melissa Moore of Sparks, Chance Moore of Sparks, Jason and Sarah Perry of Birmingham, Alabama, Sara and John Lipari of Atlanta, Georgia, Stephanie and James Jackson of Auburn, Alabama; five great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Norris and Mary Virginia McNabb of Valdosta, Russell and Lou McNabb of Tifton, Georgia; and a daughter-in-law, Sharon Moore of Sparks; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Warren Littleton "Chuck" Moore, and two sisters, Sally Bowen and Eleanor Ogletree.
The funeral service for Mrs. Moore was held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Ellis and Rev. Mark Addington officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Adel. Chad Moore, John Lipari, James Jackson, Ed Perry Bill Perry and Jason Perry served as pallbearers. "It Is Well With My Soul," "Go Rest High on That Mountain" and "I'll Fly Away" were the special selections played at the service. The family received friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
