Mr. Steve E. Griffin, 68, of Sparks, Georgia, passed away January 5, 2015 at Cook Medical Center in Adel, Georgia. He was born December 18, 1946 to Perry Lee Griffin (late) and Lois Missouri Harris Griffin. He lived in Cook County all of his life, was a retired machinist with Precision Products, and was a Christian.

Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, Sherry Wallace Griffin of Sparks; a son, Mitchell Griffin of Sparks; his mother, Lois Harris Griffin of Sparks; two brothers, Earcle Griffin of Sparks and Calvin Griffin of Adel; a sister, Pattie Sue Parker of Summerfield, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service were held on Wednesday January 7, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Brushy Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Ike Jefferson, Rev. Jimmy Parker, and Rev. William Davis officiating. Jack and Betty Joiner sang " Father Along", Swing Low Sweet Chariot", and " Lead Me Home". Pallbearers: Tim Hall, David Sumner, Bill Willis, Lee Griffin, Charlie McClain and Terry McClain. Honorary Pallbearers: Leon Hood and L V McClain. Interment followed at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
