Mrs. Susan V. Lasseter, age 71, of Adel, Georgia passed away on November 13, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on April 5, 1952 in Tifton, Georgia to the late Clyde Vining and Lucille Treadwell Vining.  Mrs. Lasseter lived most of her life in Lowndes County and the past 18 years in Cook County.  She was a retired caregiver at the Rachel House in Sparks, Georgia and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Lasseter is survived by her husband, Benny J. Lasseter of Adel; her daughters: Vickie Lasseter of Nashville, Georgia and Terry Pitts of Blountstown, Florida; two sons: Buddy Green and his fiancée, Diana Hesch of Ray City, Georgia and Sonny Green of Blountstown, Florida; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday; November 18, 2023 at the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Rowan Sirmans and Rev. Ike Jefferson officiating.  Interment will follow.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel, Georgia.
