Mrs. Tammy Fykes Kelly, 56, of Sparks, Georgia, passed away at her home April 29, 2015. She was born in Cook County on March 3, 1959 to the late Hobert Ausbon Fykes and Elnora Graves Fykes. She lived most of her life in Cook County, was a homemaker, and a member of Sparks United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Kelly is survived by her husband, Teddy Kelly of Sparks; two daughters and sons-in-law: Melissa and Chad Moore of Sparks, and Amanda and Josh McLamb of Adel; two step-sons: Todd Bickers of Sparks and Andy Bickers of McDonough, Georgia; a step-daughter and son-in-law, Kristie and Mark Whitaker of Adel; four grandchildren: Kaylee Moore of Sparks, John Morrison, Shane Morrison, and Joshlyn McLamb, all of Adel; seven step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and two brothers and sisters-in-law: Ferris and Mimi Fykes of Tallahassee, Florida, and Bruce and Sharon Fykes of Thomasville, Georgia.
The Kelly family received friends Friday, May 1, 2015 from 6 until 8 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel. The funeral service took place Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 1:00 PM at Sparks United Methodist Church with Rev. Dillard Ensley officiating. Interment followed at Sparks City Cemetery. Terry Permenter, Ron Edwards, Dennis Griffin, Brett Kelly, Brian Kelly, and Jerry Edwards served as pallbearers. Special selections played at the service were "Precious Lord, Take My Hand", "Just As I Am", and "Go Rest High on That Mountain".
