Mr. Taylor Jones, 22, of Adel, passed away on February 27, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.  He was born in Macon, Georgia, on October 8, 1996.  He lived in Cook County all of his life where he was a Baptist and a student at Cook High School.  He would have graduated this year.

Mr. Jones is survived by his mother, Tonya Parker of Adel; his aunts and uncles: Jeff and Patricia Parker of Adel, Tina Parker Bennett and Kenny Bennett of Nashville, Georgia; his first cousins: Shane and Christin Parker of Adel, Shawn and Melody Parker of Lenox; and his second cousins: Seth, Jaylin, Cole and Paisley Parker.

The funeral service for Mr. Jones was held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Gary James officiating.  Interment followed at Concord Church Cemetery.  The family received friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.  Tim Mertens, Dusty Adams, Ricky Daniel, Josh Blackston, Bailey Cheatwood and Donnie Hagler served as pallbearers.  Music to be performed at the service included "Beulah Land," "Go Rest High on That Mountain," and "I Can Only Imagine."  Becky Futch sang and played piano; Ray Tyson and Nicole Tyson accompanied Mrs. Futch in the singing.
