Mr. Tony Guthrie, 54, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on August 1, 2021 at his home.  He was born in Adel on November 13, 1966 and lived there his entire life.  Tony had a love for life, his family and his fur baby, Cuz.  Tony was an active member of the Adel Baptist Church and was the owner and operator of 3T Mobile that he and his wife, Teresa, had built.  Tony's son, Tommy, was actively learning the business and was with his dad every chance he got.

Tony is survived by his wife, Teresa Guthrie of Adel; two sons, Jacob Guthrie and Thomas Guthrie, both of Adel; two daughters and a son-in-law: Kara G. and Brady Wade of Poulan, Georgia and Caitlin Davis of Valdosta, Georgia; his mother, Brenda P. Guthrie; a step-son, R.J. Brinson; a step-daughter, Chakara Brinson; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Sandy Guthrie; a sister, Lori Guthrie Goldinger; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Guthrie, all of Adel; eight grandchildren: Hayden Wade, Chloe Guthrie, Avery Battles, Jaylen Rentz, McKylee Rentz, Anthony Pittman, Liam Brinson and Greyson Brinson; mother-in-law, Finnley Thompson; and a host of nieces and nephews.  Tony was preceded in death by his first wife, Shelia Davis Guthrie; his father, Thomas "Tommy" Guthrie; and his brother, Donnie S. Guthrie.

A graveside funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Antioch Church Cemetery with Rev. Elkin Harnage officiating.  Interment will follow.  Pallbearers will include Timmy Guthrie, Michael Brannon, Dale Hayes, Jamie Godwin, Jason Godwin, Aaron Guthrie and Bobby Gaskins.  Music for the service will include "18 Wheeler," "What a Day That Will Be" and "Wouldn't Take Nothing for My Journey Now."  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Adel Baptist Church by mail at P.O.
