Mr. Troy F. Yawn, 69, of Adel, Georgia, passed away March 19, 2015 at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta, Georgia. He was born October 9, 1945 in Tifton, Georgia to his late parents, Thomas and Gladys Lott Yawn.

Mr. Yawn is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law: T.J. and Patsy Yawn of Adel, Travis Yawn of Hahira, Georgia, and Jason and Karen Yawn also of Hahira; a brother, Charles Yawn of North Carolina; a sister, Carolyn Griffin of Tifton; and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Yawn; a brother, Gene Yawn; and a sister, Mae Yawn.

The Yawn family received friends Friday evening, March 20, 2015 from 6 until 8 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel. The funeral service was conducted Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Ashley Way officiating. Interment followed in Lenox City Cemetery. T.J. Yawn, Cliff Yawn, Chris Yawn, Ray Hunt, Jody Addison, and Josh Wilson served as pallbearers. "Amazing Grace" and "Lead Me Home" were special selections played at the service.
