Mrs. Vicky W. Folsom Barwick, 58, of Adel, Georgia, passed away July 3, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton. She was born on November 5, 1958 in Ocala, Florida to Melvin Brinson Walker and Peggy Swearingen Walker. She lived in Cook County since 1972 and worked for Buzz Akins for 15 years and was currently employed by A.J.'s Reastaurant. Mrs. Barwick was a Baptist.

Mrs. Barwick is survived by her husband, Marcus Barwick; a son Wesley McGill; her mother, Peggy Swearingen Walker; a granddaughter, Breanna McGill; a brother, Jimmy Walker all of Adel. She is also survived by a nephew, Jason Walker of Jacksonville, FL; a special niece, Heather Walker of Adel; and a great-nephew and great-niece, Jace Walker and Marlee Walker, both of Adel. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Manning, and two brothers, Larry Walker and Richard "Ricky" Wayne Walker.

A memorial service for Mrs. Barwick was held Saturday July 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home South (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.) with Rev. Michael Walker officiating. Special musical selections played at the service were "Go Rest High on That Mountain," "Amazing Grace" and "The Anchor Holds."
