Mrs. Voncile W. Grimmett, age 90, of Adel, Georgia passed away on October 20, 2022 at Southwell Health and Rehabilitation Center in Adel.  Mrs. Grimmett was born on April 24, 1932 in Cook County to the late William M. Webb and Arizona Taylor Webb.  She lived most of her life in Cook County and about 25 years in Tift County.  She was a homemaker and a member of Pineview Holiness Baptist Church in Tift County.

Mrs. Grimmett is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lori Davis of Adel; her grandson and his wife, Lee and Tia Davis of Sparks, Georgia; great grandchildren: Brantlee Davis, Adriana King and Clay King, all of Sparks; a sister-in-law, Latrelle Webb of Sparks; and a host of nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Grimmett, five brothers and four sisters.

A graveside service was held at 3:00 PM  on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Beulah Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery in Cook County with Rev. Silas Carver and Rev. Edsel Young officiating.  Special musical selections for the service included "Amazing Grace" and "Precious Memories".
