Mrs. Wanda McCranie Folsom, 72, of Adel, Georgia, passed away December 13, 2016 at Berrien Nursing Center in Nashville, Georgia. She was born on April 30, 1944 in Cook County to her late parents, Reuben Martin McCranie Sr. and Flossie Wheeler McCranie. She was a life long resident of Cook County where she was a homemaker and member of Springhead Baptist Church.

Mrs. Folsom is survived by her husband, Settle Folsom of Adel; two sons and daughters-in-law: Dwight and Suzanne Folsom of Adel and Derrell and Kim Folsom of Hahira, Georgia; a daughter and her fiance, Sherry Mullins and Michael Brannen of Adel; four grandchildren: Kasey and Ronnie Register, Shawn Mullins and fiancee Raegan Norman, Rebecca Folsom, and Michael Folsom; one great-grandson, Henry Register; and a sister, Nita Folds of Adel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lamar "Elmo" Folsom; two brothers: Bob McCranie and Reuben "Junior" McCranie; and a sister, Doris Mozzo.

The Folsom family received friends Wednesday evening, December 14, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel. The funeral service took place on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at Springhead Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Ray and Rev. Joey Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Folsom Cemetery. Jackie Wetherington played piano and Render and Fredda Folsom sang "Amazing Grace", "Just a Closer Walk Thee" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus". Leslie Folsom, Lee Folsom, Greg Folsom, Brad Folsom, Wayne Folsom and Ryan Schofill served as active pallbearers; the Senior Adult Sunday School Class served as honorary pallbearers.
