Mr. Warren Knape, Sr., 93, of Lenox, Georgia, passed away on April 24, 2021, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.  He was born on September 8, 1927, in Hebron, Nebraska, to the late Ernest Edward Knape and Clara Elizabeth Fox Knape.  Mr. Knape lived most of his life in Cook County and was a retired finance manager, farmer and cattleman. He was a member of the Lenox Baptist Church and served in the United States Navy.

Mr. Knape is survived by his four children and a son-in-law: Maria Bennett of Adel, Martha and Laddie Darden of Lenox, Warren "Bubba" Knape, Jr. of Adel, and Michael Knape of Lenox; six grandchildren: Chris and Felina Bennett, Rosa and Mike Fischer, Katrina and Brian Bondari, Michael Knape Jr., Melissa Brannon, Marla and Eric Peters; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Levering of Iowa.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Cook Knape; three brothers and one sister.

A time of Fellowship and Remembrance will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the Lenox Baptist Church, 271 W. Central Ave., Lenox Georgia.  In keeping with Mr. Knape's wishes he was cremated.
